Hon. Olukunle Olatunji joined students at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) Premier Radio Station for a special event marking the occasion. The gathering brought together young Nigerians for meaningful conversations around their welfare, rights, and the responsibilities of leadership toward the next generation.
Addressing the students, Hon. Olatunji offered words of encouragement, urging the children to remain committed to their education and to continue striving for excellence. "You are preparing to be the leaders of the next generation," he told them, reminding them that their greatest investment right now is in learning and personal growth.
He also used the occasion to speak candidly about the failures of successive administrations in adequately protecting and providing for Nigeria's children, particularly in ensuring their safety and security. He acknowledged that as a society, "we owe them much more."
However, Hon. Olatunji expressed optimism about what lies ahead. He assured the students that under new and purposeful leadership, the government would rise to its responsibility and deliver a significantly better future for Nigeria's children.
The event was a timely reminder of Hon. Olatunji's commitment to youth welfare as a core pillar of his campaign for the Governorship of Oyo State.
