Kunle Olatunji (KTJ), the Action Democratic Party (ADP) governorship candidate in Oyo State, will hold a Media Parley and officially declare his governorship ambition on Saturday, 31 October 2026, at the NUJ Press Centre, Iyaganku, Ibadan.
Organised by the Kunle Olatunji Campaign Organization (KOCO), the events mark the next stage of the KTJ 2027 Governorship Project ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Announcing the programme, Olatunji expressed his appreciation to stakeholders and supporters for their continued commitment to his aspiration to serve as the next Executive Governor of Oyo State.
He stated that, following his emergence as the ADP’s recognised governorship flagbearer and the clearance of his candidacy by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the campaign organisation has begun implementing its plans for the election.
Event Details
Both events will take place on Saturday, 31 October 2026, at the NUJ Press Centre, Iyaganku, Ibadan, Oyo State.

- Official Declaration: 1pm
The official declaration will be followed by a courtesy visit to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa I, at his palace or residence.
Zonal Declarations to Follow
The campaign organisation will subsequently arrange declarations across the Ibadan Outer City, Oyo, Oke Ogun, Ogbomoso and Ibarapa zones. These programmes will include courtesy visits to paramount traditional rulers in each zone. Dates and further details will be announced in due course.
An Invitation to Stakeholders and Supporters
Olatunji extended a formal invitation to stakeholders and supporters to attend both events, describing their participation as an important expression of the solidarity and shared vision behind the KTJ 2027 Governorship Project.
